James City County is urging citizens to participate in a Virginia Tech-conducted phone survey if contacted.
Virginia Tech’s Center for Survey Research will be calling citizens over the next few weeks to conduct a survey as part of the county’s Comprehensive Plan review. The plan details where growth should occur in the county, so survey questions will deal with services, programs, development and more.
The name “Virginia Tech” may appear on caller ID along with a phone number with a 540 area code. Citizens who receive the call are asked to take the survey.
Not all citizens will be called for the survey. Those who are not and wish to participate in the Comprehensive Plan review will have opportunities in the coming months.
