The James City County Police Department is investigating after someone broke into a home off Jamestown Road and stole five firearms.
The break-in occurred sometime between Aug. 17 and 24 at a home on the 100 block of Kathryn Court in a neighborhood behind the Colony Square Shopping Center. The home’s front door was damaged in the break-in and the following firearms were stolen:
- A .40-caliber HK USP handgun
- A .45-caliber HK USP handgun
- A .45-caliber HK handgun
- A Nighthawk Custom Talon II 1911 handgun
- A Nighthawk Custom Remington 870 12-gauge shotgun
No other items were taken from the home. Anyone with information on the break-in is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 888-LOCK-U-UP.
