Forces stationed at Fort Eustis and Langley Air Force Base will be conducting exercises across both installations Tuesday and Wednesday.
The exercises may lead to loud noises, explosions and changes in the number of security personnel patrolling the bases. Though the noises may be audible from outside the gates of the bases, a spokesperson from the 633rd Air Base Wing Public Affairs Office said no explosions will be visible.
Traffic outside the base will not be affected by the exercises.
The military conducts the exercises to ensure the maximum level of readiness, awareness and safety according to a news release.
