Snowfall has prompted local schools and government officials to delay the start of the school day and work.

Schools:
The York County School Division will open two hours late.
Williamsburg-James City County Public Schools will open two hours late for staff. Students were already scheduled to have the day off. Transportation for students in regional programs will be delayed by two hours.
Walsingham Academy is on a two-hour delay. Morning Care will open at 9:30 a.m.
Hampton Roads Academy is on a two-hour delay, with school starting at 10 a.m. Buses will run their normal routes, and lunch will be served.
Williamsburg Christian Academy will open two hours late.
Williamsburg Montessori School‘s opening is delayed until 9:30 a.m.
Military Bases:
Non-essential personnel should report two hours late to Naval Weapons Station Yorktown.
Fort Eustis will open with a two-hour delay.
